About Me
I'm inclined towards the intellectual and the literate, am also sensual and affectionate with feet planted quite firmly on ground ... well, most of the time anyway. I'm Libra, after all! : ). I enjoy swimming, sunshine, walking, hiking, travel, the future, books, ideas, writing, theatre, film, the net, conversation (incl. debate), parks, woodlands, lakes (as you find tucked away at the end of long, winding country roads), music (classical, Philip Glass), etc. Not least, I care about wisdom and understanding, seek to know how everything really and truly is, might be, could be. So I practice times of silence, and I try to remain integrated and care about becoming more evolved in this lifetime. Settling for complacency (a kind of vegetable existence) is not my idea of a fulfilling life. To have the opportunity of journeying on (what seems at times to be) "the road less travelled", to do so in the company of a gracious, spirited lady, that would be good fortune indeed. So what I'm looking for is a particularly bright, vibrant women, someone genuinely happy and playful, someone keen on engaging in life's opportunities for knowing "the good, the true, and the beautiful." This person would also be someone who clearly preferred engaging in life in the company of a man; it really does matter to her. In my mind's eye I see her already, know she's out there, would so love to meet her. If any of this speaks to you, hope you'll get in touch.
First Date
A first date would allow for spontaneity and authenticity. We would if we chose sit or stroll about in some pleasant setting, exploring our common ground, remaining sensitive to where we resonated with one another, offering one another our un-selfconscious best. If it seemed we were connecting at a heart level, then no telling where that might lead. But on this first date we'd probably just converse at length about things, all things, including ourselves, our views, hopes, aspirations and so on. In this way we'd learn about each other -- and about ourselves, our mutual affinities, our potential for chemistry, etc. We'd end our time discussing when/if we'd like to meet again. And these last remarks, of course, would also be utterly genuine.
