what does ‘real’ or ‘normal’ mean, and why is everyone looking for it? makes for boring reading. my friends think i'm anything but normal, but they think i'm incredibly fun to be with, and they depend on me as the one who will do anything for them. i'm responsible. i'm excitable. i can freak out at the drop of a hat (with excitement or anger), but it blows over just as quickly. i wear a suit to work, very professional. it covers up my tattoos and piercings. i like to think that sums up my personality too ... business on the outside, pleasure on the inside. i'm rarely boring, although, i am getting bored. not too much is going on these days. the weather has been a bit of a deterrent this winter. i'm thinking of doing something drastic. anyone want to be my partner in ... crime? or whatever? it'll take a strong man to be able to cope with the many facets of my personality.
i'm passionate, intelligent, generally pretty free-spirited. love my daughter, love my friends, love my job, REALLY love my free time. i'm active. i run ... sometimes, but hate it. i’m in kickboxing class, love it. hoping to have some great adventures this year.
there are certain things in my life that i’m just not ready to give up … certain important things. that’s why i’m looking for someone to hang out with and do stuff with, and not looking for long-term per se (although i'm not against long term). i spend a lot of my weekends from may to october at the race track.
First Date
i'd love to do something out of the ordinary for a first date, like checking out the old whitby psych or the markham airplane graveyard. although, sometimes just great conversation over coffee is out of the ordinary ... isn't it?
