I'M LOOKING FOR A SERIOUS LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP THAT CAN ENDURE THE TESTS OF TIME.
About me:
I relocated here from Maryland in Dec 06 so I’m relatively new to the Phoenix area. My interests vary, now it seems that fast and furious isn’t really my cup of tea any more. It’s interesting to me how things change within ourselves with age/wisdom. Ideals change, priorities shift, and the little things in life seem so much more important now a days. I guess that’s the “Live and Learn” thingy I have heard so much about. Drama isn't one of my strong suits, so if you’re into drama, please pass me by, because added stress from drama in a relationship isn‘t what I want and or need in my life. I like to operate in an open/honest environment without head games. Give it to me straight, even if it isn’t what I want to hear. This way at least I’ll be in the ball park and have a clue. It will also help me be able to understand what makes you happy and or sad. I'm no good at guessing games, never have been and don’t have any plans on learning that trick. I’m over 40 and never been married, have no kids. Done running around looking for adventure in all the wrong places, been there done that. I am willing and able to give 100% of myself to the relationship, will stand tall and be by your side thru good and bad times. I need to feel wanted, loved, and secure that you feel the same. And you should respect me and make me proud that your in my life. Sounds wonderful right? I know that to get what I need for me, I have to give the same in return.
About you:
I am looking for female companionship (Best Buddy). Someone I can spend quality time with. Ideally share common goals and hopefully common interests. You would be pretty (on the inside as well as on the outside), self confident and have a job that makes you fulfilled. You would have goals and a plan for your future that will make you happy. Be able to share those goals and plan with me so I can help you to succeed. As the old saying goes " If your partner isn't happy, neither are you". Be able to trust in me, give 100% of yourself to the relationship. You would be able to communicate openly and honestly about anything past or present. Without 100% mutual trust and 100% open lines of communication between us, nothing will last. And most importantly, You would be someone I want to settle down with and build a life of hope, joy and happiness.
Above are things I have learned about myself and past failed relationships. I'm a work in progress and need someone to help me to become a better life partner, and to hold my hand thru thick and thin. Because together as a team, I think we could do much better in life than trying to tackle life's challenges alone. Finding true love isn't easy, its eluded me so far. But I'm not going to let that stand in the way of my hopes and dreams.
