I moved to Delaware from South Jersey not too long ago and I've been discovering all the great things this area has to offer - the nature trails, beaches & golf courses..The Amish!! Nothing compares to the "clip clop" of an Amish buggy going by your house in the morning - it beats the NJ traffic hands down! I'd like to find someone to share adventures with - ideally on the back of a motorcycle, or in the air. I'm genuine, sincere, artistic, creative, independent and have a great sense of humor. I love to laugh & truly enjoy life. I am a work-in-progress and despite the heartbreak and disappointment that happen when a long-term relationship doesn't evolve the way you'd hoped it would, I truly believe that EVERY relationship is a gift, affording us the opportunity to learn more about life, and ultimately, about ourselves. I would like to meet a man who believes that a good, solid relationship resembles a garden - one that requires effort, but one that reaps tremendous rewards and can sustain you when times are tough. Friendship is the cornerstone of any good relationship, as is trust, honesty, integrity - being "emotionally available" - all characteristics I bring to the table. The loves of my life are my children. I have a 19 year old son, attending college in NJ, and a 21 year old daughter who lives and works in NJ. They never cease to amaze me with their wisdom, their humor and insight. I also have (or rather, HE has me...) a rescued greyhound whom I adore, and who helps keep me in shape. I find intelligence in a partner intoxicating - thought-provoking discussions and sharing opinions-especially when they differ from my own. I also enjoy aviation, and have logged 36 hours in the air, but I haven't solo'd yet - I landed a C5, but only in a "sim", so I guess that doesn't really count. But it was an awesome experience just the same. I love the symphony, but I listen to all types of music. I love to play golf, or just hit the driving range on a nice day. Nothing compares to the feeling (or sound) when you hit a spectacular shot. I love the beach in summer, and nature trails all year 'round.
