About Me
Single male, university educated and professionally employed, live and work in the city of Vancouver at a job I love with great hours, easy going, casual style, clean shaven, looking to expand my life in general, by meeting a unique, confident, intelligent and low drama woman interested in the same. I would also add that I beleive that I am a good natured, compassionate person, who may sometimes be a little too honest - even though it is usually well intentioned! On the same note, while I am far from being a bomb throwing anarchist, my general response to most forms of authority is wariness. While I have a very "white collar" type of job, I dont wear (and wouldnt anyway) a suit, work in social development, and fit in much better with my group of close friends, who are mostly artists, musicians and the like than most in my profession. I just happen to be good at math and generally useless academia. On the other hand, I have pretty much no artistic talent, and realized at an early age that my musical abilities, while OK, wouldnt pay the bills.
Ideally, I would like to meet someone with at least some similar interests (see my list, it keeps evolving in an attempt to define myself), and a similar nature, for ongoing dating and intimacy. While I am interested in seeing one person on an ongoing basis, I am not looking too far down the road in relationship terms, other than dating, for the time being.
I dont have a specific "type" of woman I prefer - it all depends on the mix of looks, personality and chemistry. A strong personality, independent minded, outspoken, and an appreciation for sarcasm and irony, self confident - I truly appreciate strong women. I do tend to be drawn to women with dark hair, as well as curvy/voluptous women. This doesnt mean you have to have either one - for some reason most of the people I have dated in my life have had neither quality, so I certainly find the fairest of the fairer sex attractive as well. But you will probably catch my eye much more quickly if you happen to meet the above descriptions. Holding a bag of money probably wouldnt hurt either.
