About Me
"luxe: the condition of being elegantly sumptuous; something luxurious; a luxury". I embody a lot of variety. I grew up on a farm, and now live in the city. I have country-girl values and a city-girl outlook. I love nature, and walks in the woods. I love to dance, and have been a belly dancer for 6 years. Hobbies and interests include health and wellness, yoga, dance, visual art, music, writing, singing, reading fantasy and mysticism, theatre, sports cars, fashion and beauty. I'm an aesthetician, aromatherapist, and reiki practitioner. I'm a hopeless romantic, yet an independant woman. I have a persona, goals, and ambitions beyond that of an average woman my age. To socialize, I enjoy a small dance venue, elegant restaurants serving italian, greek, european, or indian cuisine, wine bars, martini lounges, and posh coffee houses. I'm more likely to slip on a classic little black dress than a bar shirt and jeans. I'm gentle, pleasant, sweet, caring, respectful, polite, and courteous, yet quirky, humourous, semi-reserved, passionate, unique, deep, and an individual. As for music, I like anything save for most hip-hop and country, and deeply love anything from Tchaikovski to Sting to hard techno. I'd like to meet a man with values, goals, and ambitions beyond getting drunk on the weekend, someone who is intellectually stimulating, and prefers the finer things in life.
First Date
The perfect first date... I'd mix tradition with a bit of difference. Definitely dinner at a classy restaurant followed by either live theatre/movie or a walk somewhere in nature (like a public garden or park) and coffee/tea for good conversation. Finally, a few hours of fun at a martini bar or small dance venue would wrap it up nicely.
