About Me
Hello. I am a very goal oriented and focused individual. My education is something that am ardently pursuing (I am a self proclaimed nerd). I am in my sophomore year in college double majoring in social work and Women's Studies (this makes me a feminist, yes; but I shave, I respect men, and I find flannel shirts aesthetically displeasing. I am definitely not what you would consider typical. I am fun loving and extroverted, meaning that dancing down the aisles of department stores is normal for me. I am very passionate about the work that I do. I have devoted my life to non-violence. I go home everyday knowing that I have impacted the life of another individual positively. Being a social worker is the ultimate expression of my being, and I believe that making money is secondary to making a difference.My friends describe me as strong, funny, fiesty,liberal, understanding, sarcastic, and intelligent. I drive barefoot, love the snow, playing the guitar, singing (everywhere), drawing, enjoying simple commeraderie among friends, flowers (where they belong, in nature), insanely dark chocolate, spiders, tattoos (none of my own yet), activism,mortal kombat, sidewalk chalk, and orange pez.
I'd like to meet someone who is open minded, compassionate, and aware of the world around him. This person should be intelligent and goal oriented. Five year plan, and you're good to go ;) Humor is a definite plus, as I enjoy spending a large amount of my time laughing. He can't be too sensitive because my humor can be somewhat biting and sarcastic at times. But hey, if he can keep me on my toes he will have my attention. He doesn't have to be a hopeless romantic, either....but I won't turn that down. Basically someone who is excited as I am about getting the most out of life and making an impact on the world!
First Date
I am a very simplistic girl, so something quaint would be fine. Perhaps the traditional dinner and movie....or talking a walk somewhere. Not too much pressure, casual...wear a good old pair of jeans with holes in them and you'll be set.
