Hi,
I'm new to the internet dating experience, but I have high hopes that things will work out. I hope things work out in your search, too.
Things are great in my life right now. I have an interesting job, a new home, and all family and friends are happy and healthy. There is one thing missing, though and that's why I'm here looking for a new female friend to share some fun times and a meaningful relationship.
My friends know me to be intelligent and funny. Conversation and laughs are not a problem. I like all kinds of music. My taste ranges from ABBA to The Clash to Frank Zappa to The Meat Purveyors to Shonen Knife to ZZ Top. I'm also an avid reader. Some of my favourite authors include Tom Robbins, Robertson Davies, James Lee Burke, and Joe Lansdale.
As for visual entertainment, I love movies. Old black & whites, westerns, musicals, horror, foreign, you name it. If it looks promising, I'm watching it with a big bowl of buttered popcorn. As far as TV goes, I basically just watch anything on the Food Network and NFL football. And Lost when it starts up again on February 7th.
I'm also very active. I swim 5 days a week, take spinning and boxing classes, and if we could get some decent snow, I could finally get out for some snowshoeing. In the summer you'll find me cycling and playing softball. I do like being outdoors and I find there's really no better experience than a hike through the woods with a special someone talking and holding hands.
One of my other favourite things to do is try to make an amazing gourmet meal. But, cooking for one is boring. It's so much better to cook for two. All I would ask is that you bring a bottle of wine.
