You know I have been searching for you for sometime now.
I have learned a lot about "ME" through all this internet 'dating' per se'. This exsposure of one's self here for the 'Big World' to see. It has been a journey. Remember 'Fools Rush In'! I plan on taking this all a little slower. You are going to have to 'Rock my socks off' before meeting. I think that is the easier way. I have enough friends just want the special "ONE". Having doults if I will find him here.
I like simple things. I am a spiritual person. I am into the great out doors. I also love music... a day without music would not be a good day. I like going out to see a new movie or just staying home with a rental. I like to go out to eat or cook at home if there is someone to cook for. I have a 4 year old choc Lab. She loves a good walk. I like to discover new parks and nature. I love the Ky Lakes...Cave Run and Dale Hollow. A week end trip camping to the Smokies with some hiking. Or a quite night at home. Rabbit Hash, Ky is a magical place! I am one of the lucky ones I really like my job! Besides the job that brings in the income...I have raised four children of my own...and now have five grandchildren.
I am looking for a lasting relationship. I do want to find the man who will be my mate for the rest of my life. I am an independent type, but want to share myself with someone I can trust with me. Yea I used that word TRUST! What I am looking for is more then a second date, a best friend, compatibility, trust and honesty. Oh now that word HONESTY in the same sentence as TRUST! I want someone who wants to spend time together and likes physical closeness, but who is willing to 1st get to know me. Yes read that last sentence again.......I am no one's, one night stand! When I find this man and he finds me we will have the rest of our lives for what happens between the sheets!
I like those short trips where the time spent together is more important then where it is we go. I want my best friend and love of my life, comfort in a relationship where we both can openly share past and present. I am sincere in my search.
The man I want in my life will respect Who I am and not try to change me...And like wise I will not want to change that person. I can open my own doors. I want an equal type relationship. I do not need a man to buy my dinner. I am already complete...just want to find the man that will compliment my life... Only make it better. A man that wants to walk beside me..... not in front....not behind. Just walk beside me. A man not afraid to fall in love. Are you out there?
I love the Blues, Folk, Old rock and new... I also like Blue Grass and a little country. Music is extremly important to me. It drives my soul.
I have a blessed life and perfer surrounding myself with positive people. Do not like conflict in my life. I do know what it is I want for myself. I have met several nice people here on line. Just looking for the one for me, a good fit.
FYI these are my grand daughters!
My "baggage" is stored neatly in my basement. I guess you can say I am nearly baggage free. I have never met anyone without a few bags to carry now and again. I only get it out when I need a little help carring stuff.
