We hopeless romantics do burn with passionate intensity. For romance takes both courage & vision, rewarding intrepid & resourceful explorers.
It is with this conviction of potential that we reach out to one another so that perhaps our hearts shall create a gravity so strong that we long to surrender & be captured in its orbit. To sow the seeds in our new earth the promises of great gardens from which our hearts may feast upon.
Beacons in one another’s night, companions in one another’s day as we sojourn together like a couple of binary stars. Gods & goddesses in each other’s eyes, for we know how quickly we are made to feel mortal again. From our heavens, we shall remember how we steered our lonely vessels in darkness with merely our wits to navigate these dark, forbidding seas to distant & often unsure shores. Our love shall be our sanctuary against the world’s tempest of cold, listless dispassion.
Perhaps you yearn to discover overlooked treasure, like I do, in these impersonal ads despite meaningless stats, stock answers to stock questions & short-sighted search vectors. We romantics always profess to leave no stone unturned. Try as we may to practice what we preach.
I make this promise: I will appreciate & treat you with respect, dignity, equality & affection. I shall admire your uniqueness, warmth, personality & dreams. I am always smitten by sincerity & effort.
I'm an absolute masochist, it seems, for what some may dismiss as pointless idealistic pining yet you could do far worse than take a promising journey with a creative, charming, thoughtful, empathic, intuitive, playful, funny, compassionate, inimitable & articulate French Canadian gentleman.
I'm a graphic designer by trade & a musician, writer, artist, poet, activist & aspiring documentarian by night. Certainly not boring, unimaginative or apathetic.
Friendships are also welcome. I'm completely new to the K-town area, so you would prove a most appreciated guide.
