About Me
Well here goes...I grew up in a small town in northern Ontario (hence the name northern boy at heart), and have been living in the south for just about two years now. I’ve got a great job that I love and it’s the reason I moved down. Life’s great, and I’m really enjoying it, but sometimes it’d be nice to have someone to share it with.
I am kind hearted and was raised with good values, and have kept them with me into adulthood. I absolutely love it down here, but I really haven’t had much luck with the dating scene. I’m not a kid anymore, and the whole club scene really doesn’t appeal to me. I do enjoy hanging out at a pub (being able to speak to the person sitting beside me without having to yell is part of the appeal) or getting together for a BBQ, pool party or poker night.
I’m a huge fan of the outdoors and on most weekends in the summer if I’m not camping or at a cottage, I’m on the golf course as I’m an avid golfer and have been since I was ten (the golf courses down here are incredible). I may not be a fitness freak, but I’m not lazy either (a walk along the waterfront can be fun). I love to read and have always got at least one book on the go.
I’m looking for someone with similar interests. You’ve also got to have a good head on your shoulders and a good heart. Being able to laugh at your mistakes as well as mine (cause they happen, no doubt about it) is a must. If I’ve tweaked your interest, drop me a line and we can go from there.
First Date
Picnics, drinks on a patio, or a walk through downtown all sound like fun to me. Conversation and getting to know each other is key.
