Close your eyes... Free your mind from all your thoughts... Now listen... As your thoughts disappear into a void you can here waves crashing against rocks in the distance. A hawk lets out a cry as it soars through the sky above. You smell the fresh ocean salt as the waves come in and gently touch your feet. You open your eyes and take a look around. You're standing on a beach, what is perhaps could be a deserted island. You can see the ocean and feel the waves rush up to your feet once again. Off in the distance are the mountains of rocks to which the waves crash against. Up above is a clear blue sky with the sun setting. Its vibrant setting colors bring a sense of calmness about yourself. As if you're at peace.

In front of you I stand, a delighted smile on my face, dressed black Hakama pants and a male kimono with a silver and blue colored dragon on it. A black sash with a blue Celtic knot in the form of the tree of life holds the kimono wrapped around my upper body. I extend my arm and motion over towards a fire pit aligned with unique rocks to keep the fire from spreading. I begin to walk to a fire higher up on the beach. Out of curiosity you follow. We sit in front of the fire and begin to converse.

My Story:

I originally joined this site for new friends here in C-Dot (yup gave Calgary a new nickname), I'd like to just make new friends, as you can never have too many of those. I'd like to find that “someone” that I feel I've been missing. However it's been months that I've been searching and I haven't really had any luck. So for now I plan to live my life and when or IF she comes along I shall graciously accept her into my life. .

I'm easy going, fun, lovable, some say I’m a smart ass (I prefer witty), social butterfly with a sense of humor. I love to laugh and joke around, after all you can't take life too seriously or you'll never get out of life alive. I can be shy at first but warm up to people easily. My family and friends are always first, even before myself. I enjoy music of mostly all genres. I strongly believe honesty and trust are the key factors to any relationship and friendship is the best way to begin one. I’m usually up for anything or willing to try almost anything at least once. Love animals.

I'm a one woman kind of guy and don't plan on changing. I won't play mind games, as I've had them played on me in the past and hated it. I believe in treating others as you would like to be treated.

I'm a great shoulder to cry on, or someone who will lend an ear to if you need to talk. If it's serious troubles we may even have to go out for some good old comfort food (ice cream or cheesecake always work best) *winks*

They say chivalry is dead. I disagree. I’m old fashioned with a new age twist. I believe it lies within the very few of us that choose to still follow it. Open the door for you? Sure from time to time why not? Though it is the new age and I'm aware ladies are very capable of opening doors on their own. If someone insults you, I'll be more then happy to ask why (if you would like.) I'll admit I'm not perfect (but so darn close! ha-ha just kidding), maybe even far from; I do have my flaws, just like everyone else.(like that opening the door thing... I don't know why, but I stop after a while, but from time to time will do it =D)

I do random things at times, sometimes good, sometimes stupid. Sometimes unexplainable as to why I did them, but I assure you my response will be “it seemed like a good idea at the time” with a slight smile and/or laugh. I've learned it’s the Aquarian within me to sometimes do these things. I won’t bother getting into interests as I’ve listed a few above, but there’s so much more to add. If there's anything else you'd like to know in particular just ask :)

Definitely something that would involve eating at some point. Maybe something like go to the zoo, or a walk in the park, something not usual for a date, but would still allow us to get to know one another by talking and interacting.

One thing I would love to do is take a girl that connects with me to a concert, floor seats of course, so that when a slow song came on we could dance on the floor near the band, and that would be our song :) Would be a great story to tell others :)
